Brooke Burke and Derek Hough raise their mirror ball trophy at the finale of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars."
She was favored from the beginning and last night model/mom Brooke Burke was crowned champion of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars."
The two-hour season finale was host to musical guests Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus and to the 10 other dancers who had been eliminated from the show since its premiere in September. The only ones who couldn't dance, but appeared anyhow, where Misty Mae-Trainor and Toni Braxton. Trainor had ruptured tendon and was forced to quit several weeks ago and Braxton had undergone minor surgery and couldn't perform either.

Alot of great things come from complicated, messy situations. So says Kitty Walker on ABC's "Brothers & Sisters," and no truer a statement could have been made about last night's episode.
First, the construction mess created by the Walker clan at the house Nora bought brought Nora to tears. The idea was to save money on the interior demolition, but after part of the ceiling collapsed and Scotty found termite damage and a host of other problems, Nora started to second-guess her project. Kitty wouldn't allow her to give up and went down the row of Walkers to remind Nora about all the complicated things that have made her children great.

Agent Olivia Dunham goes back into the tank to try to rid herself of images of John Scott on "Fringe."STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- This week's "Fringe" finally brought the action right to Massive Dynamic: One of its employees (who happened to work with John Scott back in the day) is attacked by butterflies with razor wings that slice and dice him.
The only problem: They don't really exist. It turns out he was given a hallucinogen made from toads (don't tell me you haven't tried licking one to get high) that is so powerful that his body thinks the razorblade butterflies are real and cuts itself from the inside out.

We've got bad news folks.
Our Staten Island dancers, Kirill Skipalskiy and Hannah Sverdlov, did not win the Ballroom Kids competition on "Dancing With the Stars."
Though ABC will announce the winners (Craig and Samantha), tonight during its two-hour season finale, we spoke with Hannah's mom, Marina, from her New Dorp Beach home earlier today.

Henry had a tough call to make when he thought that Edward was a traitor.STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Henry was forced to play the hero last night on "My Own Worst Enemy" when he thought that his other identity, Edward, might have gone rogue.
The episode focused on Edward wanting revenge against the spy who killed his parents.

Michael Chiklis prepares to wrap things up as Vic Mackey on "The Shield."STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- This is the way to end a TV series.
In a single, silent moment on Tuesday night, Michael Chiklis manages to sum up every moral twist his character Vic Mackey has gone through over the past seven seasons of "The Shield."

Foreman asks Cameron and Chase for help when he's called upon to diagnose and treat a young boy -- without House, in the latest episode of the FOX medical drama.House just wasn't himself this week.
We haven't seen him this distracted since ... well, ever. Maybe it's the kiss with Cuddy. Maybe his leg hurts. Maybe he misses his guitar time. Maybe he's starting to second-guess his life.
Who knows?
Whatever it is, House was acting strangely, and "House" just didn't feel the same.

Sylar and Elle share a laugh on "Heroes" ... you know, just like any other couple that zaps each other would.Love is in the air on "Heroes" -- Matt Parkman loves Daphne, Shirtless Sylar loves Electric Elle, Pa Petrelli still loves Ma Patrelli enough to let her go, and Hiro loves waffles and comic books.
Let's start with "Detective" Parkman and Daphne, who seems to have taken more time off from his NYPD gig than Homer Simpson does from his job at the nuclear plant. Parkman enters Ma Petrelli's mind, where he's stabbed by Daphne. Except Daphne really loves him, so she enters his mind and un-stabs him. Then they convince Pa Patrelli to release Ma Petrelli, because even though he's a villain with a master plan, hey, why not?

John Noble turns in a great performance as Dr. Walter Bishop on "Fringe."STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- This week's episode of "Fringe" was a bit of a letdown after what was probably the best ep of the season last week.
But John Noble did his best to make us forget about the Pattern for a week and concentrate on the human element of the series as Dr. Walter Bishop was thrust back into the mental institution to help solve a mystery from the inside.

Kirill and Hannah performed last night on "Dancing With the Stars."
They said they'd make Staten Island proud and they delivered.
Dancers Kirill Skipalskiy, 11, and Hanna Sverdlov, 10, were the first to perform during the Ballroom Kids competition on "Dancing With the Stars" and tore up the floor with a "naughty" samba that had the precision and sass of dancers twice their size.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Don't have time to watch TV, but want to stay up on all the big "it" moments that everybody's talking about? Catch them all right here.
"The Price is Right" made history -- and not in the good way -- when all four contestants overbid on a pair of guitars not once, not twice, but three times in a row:

Henry (Christian Slater) has to wrestle with the possibility that his wife isn't who she says he is on "My Own Worst Enemy."STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Unfortunately, this blog won't be around much longer, because NBC has pulled the plug on "My Own Worst Enemy," and without the show a blog about it is pointless.
But rather than criticize the big wigs for not giving the series a chance, we're going to continue with this blog (for the time being) as if nothing has happened behind the scenes.
