PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Alexandra Tomlinson turned in a second-place performance (17 minutes, 24.29 seconds) and Colleen Bowman had a career mark and a third place (17:43.19) in the 1,650-yard freestyle, leading Wagner College to a fourth-place finish in the Frank Elm Super Splash at Rutgers University.

ALBANY -- Albany clinched the Northeast Conference championship and sent Wagner College home with a 30-11 loss yesterday in wet, blustery conditions at University Field.

Lia statue dedication before tomorrow's game
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Wagner College will honor the memory of former gridder Nick Lia with the unveiling of a statue outside the Wagner College Stadium at noon after an 11 a.m. ceremony at Spiro Center. Lia, a nose guard and key member of the undefeated 1964 team and captain of the 1965 team, was killed in action during the Vietnam War.
