Wigginton would give Mets grit they lack

I figured I'd post this article, in case Mets' GM Omar Minaya missed it.
The Astros "seem likely" to trade infielder/outfielder Ty Wigginton and relief pitcher Jose Valverde, according to the Houston Chronicle's Richard Justice.
Old pal Wiggy encompasses everything the Mets need in left field: He bats right handed, he'll run through a wall to win a game, he's affordable and he's got some pop, as evidenced by 23 home runs in 2008.
